Last summer, a group of parents, students and staff helped convert the dusty, underutilized library space into the Student Center using funding from the 2022 raise-a-paddle effort.

In Phase 1, we created an updated, usable space for both teachers and students with new carpet, paint, furniture, a little library and the creation of an inviting, well-appointed staff lounge, which really helped kick off the 2022-23 school year right.

Funds from this year's raise-a-paddle will allow us to complete the vision for the student center by adding some Bulldog spirit and making it even more functional for the school community.

In Phase 2 we’ll add academy wall displays featuring information about the academies and highlighting student work and career pathways. Phase 2 also includes adding an audio-visual projection wall to make presentations much more dynamic. As a finishing touch, a large mural will make the space totally unique to Tech.
